NEVER in the history of science has anyone drawn inference without proper scientific enquiry based on sound methodical approach with appropriate equipments. Again classical scholars and contemporary historians have studied the life of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) from 570-632AD and universally concluded that he had no formal education. Simply put, he was an “Ummi” – an unlettered Arab.

Invariably, the scientific accuracy of HOLY QURAN is a pointer to a knowledge that is beyond the Prophet (PBUH) himself. Shall we reflect  on the message of the Supreme Being, Almighty God (SW) that ”Say: if the whole of mankind and jinns (spirits) were to gather together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support” – Quran 17:88.
Why is it that since 1400 years ago, Quran has not been subjected to any editing, revision, further review or modification ? In answering this question, Rev. Bosworth Smith said in his book, Mohammed and Mohammedanism, published in London, that  “Al-Quran as a miracle of purity of style, of wisdom and of truth, it is the one miracle claimed by Mohammed, his standing miracle, he called it, AND A MIRACLE INDEED IT IS!”

It is this very sort of thing - confronting people with facts - that had captured the attention of many non-Muslims. In fact, there exists a very interesting reference concerning this subject in the New Catholic Encyclopedia. In an article under the subject of the Qur'an, the Catholic Church states:
"Over the centuries, many theories have been offered as to the origin of the Qur'an... Today no sensible man accepts any of these theories!!"

Now here is the age-old Catholic Church, which has been around for so many centuries, denying these futile attempts to explain away the Qur'an.

Indeed, the Qur'an is a problem for the Catholic Church. It states that it is revelation, so they study it. Certainly, they would love to find proof that it is not, but they cannot. They cannot find a viable explanation. But at least they are honest in their research and do not accept the first unsubstantiated interpretation which comes along. The Church states that in fourteen centuries it has not yet been presented a sensible explanation.

Recently, the leading intellectual in the Catholic Church - a man by the name of Hans - studied the Qur'an and gave his opinion of what he had read. This man has been around for some time, and he is highly respected in the Catholic Church, and after careful scrutiny, he reported his findings, concluding, "God has spoken to man through the man, Muhammad." Again this is a conclusion arrived at by a non-Muslim source - the very leading intellectual of the Catholic Church himself!

“Do THEY (scientists, agnostics, atheists… etc) not consider the Quran (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, THEY would surely have found therein much discrepancy”  - Quran 4:82.

“And Thou (O Muhammed) was not able to recite a book before this (book came), nor art thou able to transcribe it with thy right hand. In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted “ Quran 29:48.

The Author of the Qur'an is reasoning with us (YOU AND I), that had Muhammed (PBUH) been a learned man, and had he been able to read or write, then in that case the babblers in the market places might have had some justification to doubt his claim that the Holy Qur'an is God's Word. In the event of Muhammed (PBUH) being a literate person, the accusation of his enemies that he had probably copied his Book (AI-Qur'an) from the writings of the Jews and the Christians, or that perhaps he had been studying Aristotle and Plato, or that he must have browsed through the "Torat," the "Zabur" and the "Injeel" and had rehashed it all in a beautiful language, might have carried some weight. Then, "THE TALKERS OF VANITIES" might have had a point. But even this flimsy pretence has been denied to the unbeliever and the cynic: a point hardly big enough to hang a fly upon!
