The name of Jesus (PBUH) is
repeated in the holy Qur’an 25 times as one of the messengers of the Almighty
Allah. Allah, the
Supreme Being says in the holy Qur’an:
“The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He
created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.” Al-Imran:
Quran 3: 59
Miraculously,
the name of Jesus (PBUH) is repeated in the holy Qur’an 25 times and the name
of Adam (PBUH) is repeated 25 times as well. It’s worth noting here that the
seventh Qur’anic verse in which the name of Jesus (PBUH), is mentioned exactly
the same verse in which the name of Adam (PBUH) is mentioned. Besides, the
nineteenth verse (out of 25 verses) in which the name of Adam (PBUH) is
mentioned is in chapter 19, Suratul Mariam (Chapter of Mary), and the name of
Jesus (PBUH) is also mentioned for the nineteenth time in the same chapter of Mary.
The question that needs to be answered here is whether this is a mere
coincidence or a miracle (of “Be” and “he was”)?
Should we not ponder over the
question:
“Do they not consider the Quran
(with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found
therein much discrepancy” - Quran 4:82.
